The Library

Today was Maxwell's first visit to the Highland Park Library. I'm such a supporter of the public library system and am saddened by our libraries decreased funding. Max and I looked at some books and checked out a couple of Children's CDs and DVDs, as well as three books for me to read so that I can continue to (at least academically!) learn to be a Mommy. I do know in my heart that I am learning to be a good mom every second by listening to my inner wisdom and by observing what Max likes and dislikes. I do hope, sincerely, that he'll become a lifelong reader and lover of books.
